The Woodstock Film Festival is excited to announce the launch of SHORT FILMS, BIG STORIES, featuring new works from up-and-coming filmmakers that capture our inner monologues, embrace our identities, and interpret our current time. Commentary from the filmmakers is included within the program.

Audience awards ballots will be sent out before the conclusion of the short film program, and the winner will be announced on the 22nd.

"Muscle Memory" is a conceptual nonlinear short film that follows Tariq, who makes his living as a hoofer like his late father Yayha. On the anniversary of Yahya's death, he dedicates a dance to him, which triggers childhood memories.
