TikTok has been a very welcoming environment for animators, so much so that before they even begin posting, many of today’s top creators had no previous experience. And, it’s not just live-action, app-ready animation that’s being posted. From stop-motion, pixillation, claymation, 2D and CGI, almost every medium of animation can be found on this popular platform.
This special two-part session features 10 of TikTok’s biggest animators, including Rabbert and Abnormal Chaos discussing their style and how they create their animation. You’ll learn about the TikTok community that embraces and helps other animators and the subsequent jobs that they are getting as a result of their hard work.

Abnormal Chaos is an American 2D Animator and Storyboard Artist. She began posting her works on TikTok in early 2019 and has then honed her skills, working for various TikTok and YouTube creators whilst growing her own channel with nearly 600k fans. With only her graphic design experience from college, her animation journey has been completely self-taught and with guidance through online tutorials. She hopes to continue her career as a storyboard artist, learning more as time will pass, eventually landing her a possible position as a producer and/or show-runner. Being the "T" of the LGBTQIA+ community, she hopes to grow her community as a safe place of love and acceptance as she continues to grow as a creator and storyteller.
