William Silvers is an artist with over 35 years of commercial success. In 1995, his film career began at Walt Disney Feature Animation Studios where he adapted his fine art painting skills to the world of filmmaking. For almost 10 years he created unforgettable backgrounds for Disney classics such as Mulan, Tarzan, Lilo & Stitch, and Brother Bear.

Though an artist of repute, William continued to perfect his style and technique by taking classes with renowned artists. His love of film and his passion for art brought him back to filmmaking. His collaboration with Disney had bolstered a deep-seated desire to create meaningful work and that drive earned him a coveted stint at Industrial Light & Magic, a division of Lucasfilm Ltd., in 2004.

William expanded his repertoire of painting skills to include digital matte painting and created some of the most stunning images for the feature films, The Day After Tomorrow and Star Wars Episode III, The Revenge Of The Sith.

William’s experience in film making as well as his unique vision, attracted the attention of Universal Creative during the development of Skull Island: Reign Of Kong. Accepting a position as a Senior Designer – Concept Illustrator at Universal’s Core concept group, William was best known for his theming, atmosphere and attention to details while creating story-telling concepts for some of the largest future Theme Parks worldwide.

William continues to create new and exciting fine art pieces for Disney Galleries and Lucasfilm Ltd. For the past two decades his art has been found throughout the Disney Theme Parks, and his relationship with the Walt Disney Company continues to be a consistent theme in his career.
