Director Biography - Brandon English

Brandon English is a Queer Filipino-American Multidisciplinary Artist located in Los Angeles, CA. He explores his artistry through movement, spirituality, and deep script analysis. He is an actor, director, producer, and writer - but he simply identifies as an Artista (Tagalog for "Artist"). He pulls inspiration from his Filipino roots and his Queer identity. Last summer, Brandon produced "Borracho: Spanish for Drunken Bum" at the Hollywood Fringe Festival 2019, where it won an award and had a complete sold out run. Later that year, he was nominated for Broadway World Awards "Best Featured Actor in a Musical" for his work in Comfort Women: A New Musical. Most recently he starred in "Consent" directed by Andrew Cervantes where the short film won the Grand Jury Award at Outfest Fusion Film Festival.
