Helen Kung is a preacher in the United Methodist Church, despite the fact that her parents, husband, and children are all non-believers. In this personal documentary, one of her children, who is trans and nonbinary, reflects on their relationship to the church as an adult.

Director Biography - Jess Kung

Jess Kung is a queer Silicon Valley-born audio producer and journalist. They are a graduate of Long Beach State University, where they studied journalism and documentary film, ran a campus magazine and semi-professionally catered student film sets. They're currently based outside Washington DC, producing NPR's Code Switch podcast. Faith Alone is their undergraduate thesis film
