Director Biography - Kiana Thienkim Nguyen

Kiana Nguyen is a lesbian Vietnamese filmmaker based in San Francisco with roots in San Diego. Straight out of San Francisco State University's film program, Kiana's list of work involves experimentals and dramas surrounding their multiple identities on to a film screen. When not directing, they also play a hand in the camera department as a well-knowned cinematographer and camera assistant. They love making films for people who look like them so that they're able to be seen and heard.
