In this series of short films, women take the center stage. Through documentary and narrative films from countries like Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and Tunisia, the women depicted in each film make space for their needs, desires, and lives.

Tunis, November 2019. A group of women gather at Saïda’s salon on the eve of the presidential election. The space is transformed into a town square, mirroring the internal turmoil of the country. In this female sanctuary, we get an intimate look at the county’s young democracy.
