Exploring love in all its forms, this short film set contemplates human desire from the highs of infatuation to the depths of loss. Is it worthwhile to be "in love" with romantic love (Luv, Me)? Can technology aid one's search for love (Talk to Me)? How do we navigate the loss of our romantic partners (Breakdown and Mabel) and the tribulations of family (My Mother’s Daughter and Thunderclouds)? Most importantly, what can we do to find joy in our relationships with ourselves, others, and our communities (Granny Boot Camp)? This set reflects on what it means to love oneself and others – in full realization of love's power and its constantly changing nature.

MABEL is a tragic story that encapsulates what mourning the loss of a loved one in a hyper masculine world can look like - it’s enough to make a man crazy. Having to say goodbye to the people we love most is a universal experience and connects with everyone on some level. And for the person who’s dying, the hardest part isn’t always passing on, but having to leave your close family and friends behind. Life is a precious journey and it’s horrible to see someone you care about ripped from it. Ultimately, there is nothing the people around them can do about it other than to move towards peace and acceptance.
