Exploring love in all its forms, this short film set contemplates human desire from the highs of infatuation to the depths of loss. Is it worthwhile to be "in love" with romantic love (Luv, Me)? Can technology aid one's search for love (Talk to Me)? How do we navigate the loss of our romantic partners (Breakdown and Mabel) and the tribulations of family (My Mother’s Daughter and Thunderclouds)? Most importantly, what can we do to find joy in our relationships with ourselves, others, and our communities (Granny Boot Camp)? This set reflects on what it means to love oneself and others – in full realization of love's power and its constantly changing nature.
Christina, the reserved eldest child, must carry the burden of being the head of the family when her mother passes away only to find she is not as alone as she thinks. With Mom’s ghost lingering in the house, and her little sister Annie struggling to adapt to her death, unresolved problems that were swept under the rug come to light.
