ABOUT THE FILM:

Amy, a young kindergarten girl struggles to connect with the other kids and animals. One day, she meets a mysterious giant frog in the park, who leads Amy through a tree hole and into a forest full of mythical creatures. Here, Amy discovers that these mythical creatures actually have some kind of magical connection with her classmates. After a series of amazing adventures, Amy learns to accept her differences and face the real world bravely, thus unraveling the knot in her heart.


ABOUT THE FILMMAKER:

Paul Williams was born in Swindon, England in 1976, and he has degrees in Fine Arts and Animation. He now settles in Japan. Paul has been involved in several Oscar-nominated films, including L‘Illusionniste (2010), La tortue rouge (2016), and Klaus (2019), and served as animation supervisor for Funan (2018), that won the Cristal Award at the Annecy International Animation Festival. He settled in Japan in 2018, collaborating with Japanese production companies. Paul directed Stone Turtle (2022) (Animation part), which won an award at the Locarno Film Festival, and was an animator for the Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse which won an Oscar.
