Biographies:
Originally from Montreal, Rose Juliette has moved to Toronto to explore her passion for dance. During her time at George Brown College in the Dance Performance program, she has had the chance to learn and perform repertoire pieces choreographed by Bengt Jörgen, under the supervision of ballet master Hiroto Saito. Previously, Rose Juliette was taught by Owen Montague and Christine Cyr at Ballet Divertimento, where she received the Meritas Bursary in 2019. Rose Juliette has worked with acclaimed choreographers Roberto Campanella, Hanna Kiel, and Jera Wolf during intensive training programs. The emerging artist is a member of Bravo’s Dance Company where she performs Brazilian samba for corporate and commercial events across the city. Rose received the REAson d'etre dance's Modern Technique award in 2024. Rose performed in EMERGENCE April 2024 with George Brown Dance and in Transhumance May 2024 with Corpus Dance Projects. Her Film Passerby was selected for screening at the 2024 Contact Dance Film Festival.
Holly Gill is a Toronto based dance artist born in Oxford, Nova Scotia. She previously performed and worked of esteemed choreographers Allison Bradley and Ryan Lee in George Brown College’s annual performance UNLEASHED. Recently, Holly has also performed as a dancer, singer, choreographer, and director of Cumberland Performing Art’s Journey Through the Genres. Currently, Holly is a graduate of the Dance Performance Program at George Brown College. Prior to her post-secondary studies, Holly had extensive training in Ballet (Vaganova) Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip-Hop. Holly has many years of experience teaching dance in a variety of styles and at a variety of locations to diverse age groups. Holly is excited to perform works of the contemporary and commercial dance stream and continue sharing her knowledge of her respective styles with eager students.
Jackson Young is an emerging dance artist based in Toronto with recent works in ballet with Sleeping Beauty’s Pas De Cinq, choreographed by Bengt Jörgen and performed in George Brown Dance’s IN HAUS. He is a graduate of the Dance Performance Program at George Brown College, and has done Summer Intensive IV with Jörgen Dance. Young’s most accredited work is with George Brown Dance’s UNLEASHED performance as a dancer in Bengt Jorgen’s Bach 1st Movement and Susie Burpee’s And… Scene! Irma Villafuerte's choreography.
