This programme is just a taster of some of the great Lesbian shorts you’ll see this year at Iris. With loud and proud performance poetry and intimate character studies, boldly daring animation and a love story told in reverse, this is also a showcase of excellent women directors, both experienced filmmakers and exciting new talent alike.

In the midst of Melbourne's COVID-19 lockdown, Jamie finds reprieve from the monotony of isolation through their imagination, sensuality and some help from iconic onscreen queer characters. To borrow a description from the film’s own Instagram account, this riotous animation is “Very queer, very Covid & very horny.”

Yng nghanol clo COVID-19 Melbourne, mae Jamie yn canfod saib o undonedd arwahanrwydd trwy ddychymyg, cnawdolrwydd a rhywfaint o help gan gymeriadau queer eiconig ar y sgrin. I fenthyg disgrifiad o gyfrif Instagram y ffilm ei hun, mae’r animeiddiad terfysglyd hwn yn “Queer iawn, Covid iawn a horny iawn.”
