FLICKERING LIGHTS: Short Film Block

A young boy, less than six years old, embarks on a journey with his father that leads him to a magical moment, changing the trajectory of his life forever. RAINBOW recounts an artist’s memory of realizing his life’s vocation.

Aleksandar Vujović (born 20 May 1986) is a Montenegrin director, multimedia artist and producer. He graduated with a Masters degree at the Accademia di Brera in Milan, Italy, where he continued his work and implemented numerous projects for different companies such as Mediaset, Diesel, Pedemontana. Vujović has also worked on projects for institutions and organizations such as Accademia di Brera, CGIL-Lombardia, More Than Zero Crossmedia Festival Milano, and more. Vujovic went on to complete his professional training in New York at the New York Film Academy. In 2017, he received an international award at the SEE Film Festival in Paris for the short film AS TRAINS GO BY (2016). Aleksandar is a member of A-Prava, an organization dedicated to the protection of the rights of film producers, in Montenegro. He is also an assistant professor at the University of Donja Gorica. In the last year, Vujović has received numerous awards and recognitions for the short film RAINBOW (2020).
