During his girlfriend’s pregnancy, Patrick films one image per day with his cellphone. After their son’s birth, Patrick assembles his favorite moments to write him a love letter: a small ode to everyday light.

Director's Bio


Patrick Bossé honed his taste for filmmaking under the oil refinery stacks of Montreal's east-end district, armed with a rudimentary video camera. He now works as a documentary screenwriter and director. And he participates in various projects mixing storytelling, immersion and interactivity.


Montréalais d’origine, Patrick Bossé développe son goût pour le cinéma à l’adolescence, muni d’un caméscope rudimentaire, sous le feu des pétrolières à Pointe-aux-Trembles. Il œuvre comme scénariste et réalisateur depuis près de quinze ans. Il s’implique aussi comme concepteur dans une variété de projets alliant récit, immersion et interactivité.
