Ben Wiggs is an Animation Supervisor at DNEG Vancouver and supervised DNEG’s Animation team on Venom: Let There Be Carnage. Beginning his career working on TV commercials, Ben was honoured with a VES award for his animation work. Following this, he made the jump to Film VFX, joining DNEG first as an Animator before moving onto Lead Animator, then rising to his current role.


With over 17 years of industry experience, Ben has supervised animation on a wide range of films, from high profile blockbusters such as Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and Wonder Woman, to projects such as Gore Verbinski's A Cure For Wellness, bringing his distinctive flair for visual storytelling to each project. Other major titles include John Carter, Les Misérables, Hercules, Ant-Man and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.

Spencer Cook

Animation Director // DNEG


From stop-motion animation for TV series and commercials to digital animation on Hollywood's biggest blockbusters, Spencer Cook is an animation veteran with 30+ years of industry experience. Spencer most recently served as DNEG’s Animation Director on Venom: Let There Be Carnage.


Before joining DNEG in 2019 he worked as Senior Animation Supervisor on Godzilla: King of the Monsters. His extensive filmography includes collaborating with director Sam Raimi on the first Spider-Man trilogy, for which he received BAFTA and VES Award nominations for his work on Spider-Man 3. Other highlights in Spencer’s filmography include Alien: Covenant, Beauty and the Beast’, Matrix Reloaded, Matrix Revolutions and Men in Black 3.


With a degree in Fine Arts from New York City’s School Of Visual Arts, Spencer is an experienced artist with a strong creative vision who brings his collaborative leadership approach to every project.
