About the Filmmaker


Amira-Géhanne Khalfallah was born in 1975 and raised in Algeria. A student of cellular and molecular biology, she writes creative pieces and journalism. Living in Morocco since 2007, she has made two short films, and she is currently working on her first feature film, The Return Of the Jerboas, which is about nuclear tests in the Sahara in the 1960s.
