About the Filmmaker


Morad Mostafa, born in Cairo, Egypt, studied film directing at Cinema Palace in 2008. He has worked in the filmmaking industry since 2010 as an assistant director to several directors, including Mohamed Diab, Ayten Amin, Hala Khalil (Nawara, 2015), and Sherif Elbendary (Ali, the Goat, and Ibrahim, 2016). In 2019, he directed his first short film Henet Ward, which was selected at the Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival’s International Competition for its world premiere in France in 2020.
