
The Young Audience program is dedicated to Nordic-Baltic films that approach an older children segment, from nine and up. Four film compete in this competition and are contenders to get the best award for children’s film, judged by the local children’s jury. Four diverse stories whit a different visual approach, that takes the perspective of a younger audience into more sensitive themes and intimate sphere.

The film's story is based on the Slavic folktale, which has been told for ages from the peasant's point of view. The film shows the story from an underground angle, giving an overview of what really happened while peasants were engaged in the cultivation of vegetables. And about property, collaboration, and betrayal.
Piret Sigus (born 1976 ) is an independent animation artist and director. Graduated Academia Grata department of Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004. She has been working in Nukufilm studio. She is a founder and owner of the cut-out animation studio Animailm. Author of animated music videos for punk band Kurjam.
Silja Saarepuu (born 1973) Artist and filmmaker. Graduated Estonian Academy of Arts in 2004. Has been teaching drawing and welding at the Estonian Academy of Arts, and has been curating and designing exhibitions. A freelance artist working in the field of interdisciplinary arts creating and using stories of little people living on Earth and rolling stones on fields of different realities.
