Two worlds collide when Maya’s oldest friend June, single and child-free, shows up at the picture-perfect baby shower her new mommy friends have organized. Acutely aware of this precarious juncture in their relationship, the two friends must find a way to bridge their shared past with the uncertain future that lies ahead.

Refreshing in its commitment to examine the choice of pregnancy and motherhood in all their messy complexity, the film features nuanced performances by Pia Shah and Emily C. Chang who wonderfully embody the vulnerability and ambivalence that color the world of two women who find themselves straddling a defining moment of transition.
