ABOUT THE FILM:

On a barren island, a creature discovers a mysterious object floating towards the shore. Placing it on its island, it feels a surge of joy, but soon realizes how dull its island truly is compared to neighboring islands. Eager to be like them, it starts to collect more objects to decorate the island. As its obsession grows, the situation starts to spiral out of control.

Through a story showing the downfall of a character who got hyper-fixated on becoming like others without reflecting on oneself, this animation highlights and warns the danger of a sense of self-inferiority and mindlessly imitating others, that is pervasive in modern society.
