9 Alberta-made short films that showcase talent from all around the province. From experimental animation to danceable documentaries, this diverse group of films will have something that will surely appeal to everyone.



Seven half-brothers reflect on their mother, pastimes, and insurance fraud in the slow-paced town of Manitou, Manitoba.


First-time filmmaker Austin Ladouceur crafts a wonderfully strange tale that feels like a stylish mix of something out of Wes Anderson's filmography and an Arrested Development episode. In his words: "This is a love letter to my siblings, mother, and childhood."


Director Austin Ladouceur will be in attendance at the September 25 screening.
