Director's Bio
Narelle is a filmmaker from Sydney, Australia. She made her first short film in 2017 called 'The Actor' which after screening at a string of festivals, won third place at the International Mobile Film Festival in San Diego. Narelle's second film '#SELFIE' also went on to screen at numerous festivals and won the People's Choice Award at the Reel Escape Short Film Festival in NSW.
'Tessa Time' is a short film that she wrote, directed and performed in during Covid-19 lockdown.

Narelle is part of a wave of filmmakers dedicated to telling stories shot exclusively through smartphones. Narelle is a one-woman-show who writes, directs and edits her own films. She is challenged by the idea of filmmaking with small budgets, tiny crews, in natural lighting and with minimal external equipment.
