Nari is a Korean-American girl who wants to enjoy her lunch just like her friends, but her noodles are far from being American. Her noodles take the form of a dragon and that seeks her attention. Afraid of judgment from her peers, she tries her best to contain the noodle dragon.
Director Biography - Insun Park, Jin Pei Lua
Insun Park is a story artist and 3D sculptor. She was born in South
Korea and raised in sunny California. In the summer, she ate a lot of
sweet oranges plucked from the tree in her backyard.
She has always enjoyed telling stories and she is inspired to make all
kinds of art because it is fun! She feels very lucky to be able to
pursue what she loves as a career.
Insun chose to attend Ringling College hoping to hone her skills. As a
student, she started a cooking club, was featured in Best of Ringling,
and was a Trustee Scholar nominee. She also spent a summer as a
sculpting intern for Hasbro after a workshop hosted by Ringling.
After her time as a student, she feels ready to further develop her
skills. She learned that it is important to be a balanced individual, and
that the oranges in Florida taste just as sweet
Hello! My name is Jin, and I am a 3D animator!
I was born and raised in the island city of Singapore. One day, when I
was a child, I noticed my older sister doodling on a piece of paper,
and that kick-started my passion for creating art and animations.
Apart from making art, I also love video games (role-playing, story
rich games are my favorite), eating, reading books, creating
characters and writing stories very much!
I am inspired to achieve authenticity and specificity in both my art and
animation, I believe that this will help me reach further heights and
develop my artistic style as I go on this journey.
Before Ringling, I was a Junior Animator in Bandai Namco Studios
Singapore, and worked on the Ace Combat 7 project! I was
responsible for cinematics and asset animation during my time there,
working closely with my coworkers to achieve the project’s vision. I
decided to attend Ringling because I want to broaden my horizons, to
see how far I can develop and grow both as an artist and a person. Some awards I have earned include the Dean's Scholarship, as well as having my works featured in Best of Ringling.
