She’s the only one left standing after an attack killed everyone she knows. She must now find a way to survive on her own.
Director's Statement
Thief is my 3rd short film, filmed earlier this year by myself and Maddi Ward, both located in regional NSW. The idea of the film came purely from the location; the struggles of being hungry and alone, in a world that wants to kill you. Knowing that your only choice is to keep surviving.
Making the short a singular shot had its advantages and disadvantages, but the size and portability of the iPhone made it possible to squeeze into those tight spaces and keep the camera moving.
