Director's Statement

“Guess the word” is a film created by a group of students who attended a holiday workshop at The Hills Drama School. The goal was to create a 3 minute film with the theme “Free” in one day. Whilst I pitched the concept of the film to them, each of the students created their own characters and dialogue.


FUN FACT: We had so much fun improvising dialogue in the film that the first edit was 6 minutes long. As the film was so heavily based on the theme “Free” we had to cut half of the film’s funny dialogue out of the final edit.
