Director's Statement

Unplugged was made as part of Dublin Smartphone Film Festival's Global Film Project in 2021 where I was selected as the Australian representative (for better or worse) to contribute a 1-2 min film based on the theme ""One man's trash is another man's treasure"". We had planned this shoot during the protracted lockdown in Sydney, and when restrictions were finally lifting we only had a small window of opportunity to shoot it prior to the deadline (and finding a weekend when it wasn't storming).
