Cesar Dacol Jr.

Creature Art Director // SpinVFX

(Raised by Wolves, Disney's Upside-Down Magic, Zombieland: Double Tap, Stranger Things 3)


Cesar has been bringing creatures and characters to life for over 20 years. He started his career in the makeup effects industry and transitioned to CG in the mid-90s.


From designing the hero dinosaur, Gigantasaurus, in Journey to the Center of the Earth (2008), to the werewolves in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013), Cesar has carved a path in feature films such as 300 (2006), The Incredible Hulk (2008), Happy Feet 2 (2011), Fantastic Four (2015), Zombieland 2: Double Tap (2019), and Vincenzo Natali’s In the Tall Grass (2019).


Cesar’s creature design work can also be seen Stranger Things 3 (Netflix), The Umbrella Academy S1 and S2 (Netflix), and Nightflyers (Syfy/Netflix) – which earned a 2018 VES nomination for the creature “Eris”.

Gautam Singh

Model Lead // SpinVFX

(Zombieland: Double Tap, In the Tall Grass, The Umbrella Academy, The Expanse)


Gautam is a Model Lead at SpinVFX in Toronto, Canada. Since joining SpinVFX, he has worked on several films and shows including The Umbrella Academy (Netflix), In the Tall Grass (Netflix), Zombieland 2: Double Tap (Columbia Pictures), and The Expanse (Amazon Prime), among others.


Prior to joining SpinVFX, he worked as an Asset Artist. He studied 3D Animation at Seneca College of Applied Arts and Technology in Toronto, Canada, and completed his graduation in 2013. For his undergraduate studies, he completed his Bachelors of Engineering in IT in India where he grew up.

Jeff Campbell

VFX Supervisor // SpinVFX

(The Stand, Lovecraft Country, The Umbrella Academy, Fight Club)


Over the past 20 years, Jeff Campbell developed his creativity in visual effects as an Animator, Compositor and VFX Supervisor. His unique artistic vision and technical expertise evolved in working with esteemed Directors such as David Fincher on Fight Club (Fox 2000), and Tarsem Singh on The Cell (New Line).


In 2019, Jeff’s VFX supervision on the fan-favourite Netflix Original series, The Umbrella Academy led to an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Visual Effects, and an HPA Award nomination for Outstanding Visual Effects. He returned as VFX Supervisor for The Umbrella Academy S2 in 2020.


His recent projects include HBO’s Lovecraft Country, and The Stand (CBS All Access) based on the Stephen King novel by the same name.

Peter Giliberti

Animation Director // SpinVFX

(Raised by Wolves, Stranger Things 3, Nightflyers, Spider-Man)


Peter began his illustrious career twenty years ago in traditional animation for children’s television shows, and later moved into 3D character animation where he rose to success on such productions as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy (2002-2007), Hancock (2008), and Watchmen (2009), among many others.


Peter spent a total of 7 years at Los Angeles’ Sony Pictures where he worked on Spider-Man (2002), delivering the continuous finale shot of Spider-man swinging through the New York City skyline – a shot that remains one of the most iconic in superhero movie history. 


Further buttressing his impressive animation chops, Peter’s digi-double work, motion capture and keyframe performance can be seen in numerous characters in Stranger Things 3 (Netflix), The Umbrella Academy S1 and S2 (Netflix), and Raised by Wolves (HBO). 


His work on Nightflyers (Syfy/Netflix) earned a VES nomination for the character, “Eris”.

Simon Milner

CG Supervisor // SpinVFX

(The Glorias, The Umbrella Academy S2, Raising Dion, In the Tall Grass)


Simon has lived in multiple countries around the world, working for VFX studios as a Crowd Supervisor and Render TD, before settling in Toronto in 2013, where he now lives with his family, eventually joining SpinVFX as a CG Supervisor.


Simon has worked on projects large and small for both film and television. In 2016, he was part of the team that delivered the 'To the Gates' episode of Vikings (History Channel), which received the VES Award for Best Visual Effects that year. His work can also be seen in the Guillermo del Toro film, The Shape Of Water, which won the 2018 Oscar for Best Picture.


Since joining SpinVFX, Simon has been a core part of the teams that delivered Vincenzo Natali’s adaptation of the Stephen King and Joe Hill novel, In The Tall Grass (2019), Raising Dion (Netflix), Zombieland 2: Double Tap (2019), and The Umbrella Academy S2.

Tim Sibley

Effects Department Supervisor // SpinVFX

(In the Tall Grass, Stranger Things 3, Game of Thrones, The Expanse)


Tim Sibley joined SpinVFX in 2006, and has served as the Effects Department Supervisor since 2009.


Tim is a graduate of Ryerson University's Film Program, where the focus on traditional filmmaking fundamentals laid the groundwork for his success in digital post-production work.


He has since honed in on effects as his core focus, where he found a satisfying and challenging balance between artistry and technical skill.


Tim has contributed to over one hundred commercial, film, and television projects, including Game of Thrones season 3, Battle: Los Angeles (2011), Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), John Wick (2014), and the fan-favorite Netflix Original series The Umbrella Academy seasons 1 and 2.


He was also recognized with an Emmy nomination for his work on the Showtime series The Borgias.

Kelly Singh

Head of Communications // SpinVFX


Kelly has long worked parallel to the film sector, often as an advocate on government policy that has driven the growth and direction of the film industry in Ontario.


Her versatile background has been foundational to her development from Policy Advisor to Minister Michael Coteau, and later to Minister Eleanor McMahon at the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture & Sport. Combined with her initial transition into the film industry on the studio developer side in Toronto, Kelly quickly gained a love for post-production and AR/VR technologies.
