Victor Tomi

VFX Supervisor // One of Us

Victor joined the One of Us team for the first time back in 2011, when he was still a junior comper. After working on-and-off on various projects, he has been at the studio permanently since 2014, developing his creative and technical skills with every show he has worked on. His first lead compositing roles took place on Disney's A Wrinkle in Time and Dome Karukoski’s Tolkien followed by supervising the 2D team on the third season of Netflix’s The Crown.


His most recent role has been VFX Supervisor on the new period drama series Bridgerton, the first collaboration between Shondaland and Netflix.

Ian Failes is a VFX and animation journalist based in Sydney, Australia. He is the editor of industry publication beforesandafters.com and the accompanying befores & afters print magazine. He has written for fxguide, Cartoon Brew, VFX Voice, 3D Artist, and 3D World. Ian is the author of the book, ‘Masters of FX’. He holds the world's largest collection of memorabilia from the film Speed.
