It is true. Being a creative is the proverbial labor of love. Beginning with the birth of the concept, molding, cultivating, and nurturing it into what thrills and provokes the mind, body, and soul. This is more so with independent VFX projects. Considering they are often projects with tight budget constraints, sometimes fluid timelines and expectations that are stratospheric in terms of quality and quantity of work.

Chocolate Tribe has done in-house as well as collaborated on several independent VFX projects and will share how these projects came about, how they developed concepts, the software used, techniques gained, timelines taken to achieve certain aspects, and highlighting low points at each stage of the project; from Lego Jurassic Park – the Land of Giants, showcasing RnD processes for collaborating with partners, through to the award-winning, highly recognized short films Noodles, Robot and Scarecrow and Cognition.
