Director's Statement
Hi, my name is Ludo, and I am sharing this short film I made with my sister Olive a couple of years ago (when she was just 14!) as she is an amazing (award winning) young filmmaker, director actor, and story teller who is feeling a bit down about not being able to get out and shoot some exciting new projects due to the extended lockdowns in NSW - plus all the delays to film Productions in general. If you love Harry Potter as much as we do, this film is for you! Expelliamus!
Director's Bio
This film is a co-production between sibling filmmaking duo Olive and Ludo Blakemore, when Olive was 14 and Ludo had just turned 17 as a fun, Harry Potter inspired Fan Fiction tribute film.
It was a co production, but mostly spearheaded by Olive, who wrote, directed, edited and co starred and co-produced this whole project, with some help (but mostly annoyance) from her Harry Potter obsessed older brother Ludo - and no other people.
The footage was all shot on Ludo's iPhone 6s and edited in iPhoto and iMovie with a few Harry Potter style special effects from a website called Footage crate. The film is not for profit and just for fun for Harry Potter fans, G rated and a little bit spooky, We hope you enjoy it.
