SIGNIFICANT is an attempt to make a chronological retrospective in only one hour of the films that in one way or the other played a significant role in the coming of age of The Animation Workshop. Showing the development of both technique and skill over a 30-year period, the program also reflects the corresponding development in Scandinavian animation over the same time span.

The programme contains some of the first films from today's established animation directors, such as Thorbjørn Christoffersen, Martin Skov, Kresten Vestbjerg Andersen, Tobias Gundorff, Rikke Planeta, as well as unscreened and raw gems from the years where it all started.

NB! Gamlebyen Kino is an outdoor cinema, so bring a warm sweater. In case of rain, the screening will be moved inside.

A young graffiti artist gets caught in action. Trainbombing is the story of a young graffiti artist who by an unlikely series of events accidentally creates the masterpiece of his life.

This is the graduation film of Bodie Jahn-Mulliner & Sylvester Rishøj Jensen. The two young directors went on to create SYBO Games, producing the game Subway Surfers. Based on the characters and the world of Trainbombing, Subway Surfers became the most downloaded mobile game in the world for nearly half a decade, making SYBO Games one of the biggest success stories in the Danish game industry.
